Are Zook's puppies AKC registered?

Our parent dogs are AKC and ACA registered and health-tested. Puppies are sold as high-quality companions. We provide proof of parent pedigrees and health certifications upon request.

What health guarantees are provided for puppies?

All puppies are cleared of genetic defects via parentage health testing. Every puppy leaves with a written health guarantee, up-to-date vaccinations, deworming, and a full vet clearance.

Do you offer delivery to NYC or other states?

To ensure the best transition for our puppies, we do not ship via air or ground. All families must meet us at our property in Fort Plain, NY for choice and pickup.

Is Zook's Frenchies a licensed facility?

Yes, we are a USDA-inspected and licensed breeder. We adhere to the highest standards of cleanliness and care on our family farm in the Mohawk Valley.

How are the puppies socialized at Zook's?

We raise our puppies in a family environment on our upstate NY farm. They interact daily with people and other dogs to ensure they are well-socialized before moving to their new homes.

When can I pick up my new puppy in Fort Plain?

Puppies are typically ready for pickup at 8 weeks of age. We schedule in-person appointments at our Fort Plain property so you can meet your puppy and complete the transition process.

What should I bring for my puppy pickup visit?

Please bring a secure pet carrier for the drive home. Since we are in the Mohawk Valley, we recommend checking weather conditions for your trip to upstate NY before you arrive.

Can I see the puppy's parents when I visit?

Yes! We encourage families to meet the parent dogs during their scheduled visit to our home. Seeing the parents helps you understand the temperament and quality of our breeding program.
